VALOI 360 Large Scanning Kit

This kit includes the VALOI 360 Advancer with 35mm and 120mm holders, the CineStill CS-LITE and adapter, and the Duster. Combined with a suitable camera and tripod, you have everything you need to quickly create high-quality film scans from 35 mm film strips. Optimised for use with uncut film rolls, it can also be used with 35mm film strips as small as 3 frames.

The CS-LITE Camera Scanning Light Source is a compact camera scanning light source.
It was designed to provide film photographers higher-quality light with improved color management, in order to facilitate the process of scanning their favorite 35mm
and medium format films with a digital camera.
The CS-LITE features a CRI of 95+ for high color accuracy and a brightness of EV 15+ to provide sufficient illumination for even the densest of negatives.
What sets the CS-LITE apart from other light sources on the market is its ability to adjust color temperatures to properly suit different types of film, such as color negative,
color positive, and black and white. These are controlled directly from the built-in remote control of the CS-LITE.

The Cool Light mode reduces the orange mask that is present in color negative film providing color balanced scans with better color separation and less noise.

The White Light mode is ideal for scanning black and white film.

Lastly, the Warm Light mode is perfect for scanning standard E6 processed slide film,
as the tungsten-balanced light can produce richer tones and enhanced color separation, especially within the red channel.

This product is USB-powered and requires a 5V/1.6A power brick (typically a phone charger) with USB-A. Even a small/older one will power this unit.

The VALOI Advancer will help you improve speed, stability, levelling, light quality and supports all VALOI media. It will also allow you to use other accessories, such as the VALOI Duster.

LightAdapter

The VALOI LightAdapter is a robust platform with space for the Cinestill CS-LITE to be inserted and then screwed into place. Screwing the light to the LightAdapter and the LightAdapter to the Advancer makes for an ultra-sturdy configuration. On the bottom of the LightAdapter, you'll find rubber levelling feet that allow precise adjustment of levelling and grip on the surface.

Cinestill CS-LITE

The Cinestill CS-LITE is the best affordable light source for film digitisation on the market. Low cost combined with high CRI, high light intensity and three optimised settings for different film types make it an unbeatable offering. Best of all, it integrates perfectly with the VALOI 360 system.

35 mm stand

The VALOI 35 mm holder is designed for standard 35 mm films with a frame size of approximately 24 x 36 mm, and optimised for flatness and quality. It is compatible with the Advancer but can be used on its own.

Support 120

The VALOI 360 120 holder is designed for standard 120 film with a frame size of up to 6 x 9, but is perfectly suited to all smaller formats on 120 film, and optimised for flatness and quality. It is compatible with the Advancer but can be used on its own.

35mm and 120mm scanning bonnet

This is important if you want to keep the room lights on for good quality scans. With these scan bonnets, you can keep some light in the room and achieve a more comfortable working environment.
