The Paterson Major Focus Finder basically works just like the Paterson Micro Focus Finder, but thanks to the increased height of 14 Inch, you can manipulate the magnification control more comfortably, even at high magnifications.
A longer neck makes it easier to operate the magnification focusing mechanism. Can be used for magnifications up to 3.5X.
Is fully adjustable to individual vision. This adjustment is made by gently moving the eyepiece up and down as you look through it until the cross built into the viewfinder is sharp. The eyepiece is then locked in position with the screw provided. A sliding hatch finally protects the internal mirror when the Focus Finder is not in use.

Looking through the eyepiece, the user can see the much enlarged grain structure of the negative, making it possible to focus very accurately on the grain structure and thus ensure very sharp prints.
