10x magnifying glass with a large field of view and excellent sharpness even in the peripheral areas.

This loupe magnifies strongly enough to really check details such as grain, sharpness or resolution, but at the same time you do not have the limited field of vision of other 10x loupes (e.g. linen tester or jeweller's loupe).
10x magnification is ideal for checking the sharpness on the focusing screen of a large format camera.

The lens worm is made of metal.
Colour fringes in the edge area are very slightly pronounced.

For reflected-light originals, a ring-shaped LED daylight can be switched on in addition to the transparent base. You no longer need a light desk to view a contact sheet in a café!
The energy is supplied by 4 button cells below the threaded worm. They are of course exchangeable.

The magnifier has a 1/10mm scale built into the base.
If you don't want to use it (try it out first), you can remove the glass.

All in all a very high quality magnifier that convinces immediately, at the latest when you switch on the LED light, at a comparatively very reasonable price.
